Gordy Dooley Signs with the University of Louisville

 

Gordy Dooley, a senior at St. Henry High School, signed a National Letter of Intent to run Track and Cross Country at the University of Louisville next year. Gordy has four career KHSAA State titles during his high school tenure. Dooley won the 2006 KHSAA Class A State Cross Country Individual Title. He then followed up with a victory in the 1600m & 3200m at the KHSAA Class A State Track Meet in May 2007. Gordy finished his high school Cross Country career with his 2nd consecutive KHSAA Class A Individual Cross Country Title in November 2007. He was also named the KTCCCA Kentucky Cross Country Runner of the Year.

The University of Louisville won the 2007 Big East Conference Cross Country Championship and went on to finish ninth at the NCAA Division 1 Championship.
