2006 Kentucky AAA State Cross Country Champion Brian Long (St. Xavier) now a freshmen at Villanova University will run in the USATF XC Junior Nationals this Saturday in San Diego, California. 
The Junior Boys race will be at 12:30 Saturday(Pacific). Long is coming off a victory in the 5000 Meters at the NYC Gotham Cup in which he ran a personal best of 14:37. Long finished 15th in the USATF Junior XC Nationals last year with a time of 26:53.
