Madisyn Peeples is back!!!!! The Bowling Green High School junior who has not run a race since June 2014 having missed her entire sophomore year out with injury. She rolled a 17:48 near the end of her freshman XC season at Nike Cross Southeast to qualify for Nike Cross Nationals in Oregon. She came back strong to kick off her junior season with an 18:50 to win the Raider Twilight Run on Saturday. She also helped lead her team to the title with 39 points.
On the boys side, Graves County senior Marcos Macias won his 2nd race of the season with a 16:24. He won a 3K on Tuesday at Calloway County with a 9:52. The host team Warren East won the team title with 60 points led by Jacob England's 5th place finish.
