Henry Clay Junior Jaron Brooks has been invited to compete on TEAM USA at the Caribbean Scholastic Invitational in Havana, Cuba on June 12 & 13. He shot onto the national scene this past winter when he jumped 7-01 at the UK High School Invitational. He then went on to win a National title in the High Jump at New Balance Indoor Nationals in New York City in March. He is the only known jumper over 7-00 in Kentucky history.
Brooks will be seeking Kentucky State Championships this weekend in all three jumps events.
