To conclude the Indoor Track and Field season, five University of the Cumberlands Patriots excelled in the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships in Geneva, OH. All five athletes competed in the preliminaries on Friday, March 6th with three advancing to finals on Saturday. Two Patriots earned NAIA All-American honors.

Sam Beal (Beavercreek, OH)- 3,000m- preliminaries: 8:38.98; finals: 8:47.46, 11th place overall
Fred Taylor (St. Louis, MO) -- 60m dash- preliminaries: 6.86, 9th place overall; 200m dash- preliminaries: 22.21, 18th place overall
Top finishes for the Patriot women include:
Danielle Hoop (Owenton, KY) -- 1000m run- preliminaries: 2:55.16; finals: 2:56.43, 6th place - All-American honors; 1600m run-preliminaries: 5:06.03; 13th overall
Madison Peace (Walton, KY)- 800m run- 2:24.19; 20th overall
