Week 4 Runners of the Week


Starting with the Week 3 Awardees, will present the people's choice via the polls put up on the site and the staff choice.  They could be separate or could be the same.  Either way, both are the Runners are the Week. Week 4 Runners of the Week
The People's Choice
Savannah Kingery - Elizabethtown
Kingery, a 9th grader won the Fairgrounds Frenzy hosted by Central Hardin with a 19:41.  This was the 3rd win in 5 races this fall for the #4 ranked runner in Class AA.  
Site Choice
Kaitlyn Lacy - Male
Lacy, a 9th grader made a statement to everyone in the entire midwest and south when she busted out a 18:18 to finish 8th overall at Trinity/Valkyrie.  In the loaded with teams from 7 states was the top Kentucky runner and 2nd frosh overall.
The People's Choice
Jackson Cooper - Central Hardin  
Cooper, a senior pulled off just his 2nd career XC win ever when he ran a then PR of 16:21 to win at the Fairgrounds Frenzy.  Big PR of 37 seconds in only his 2nd time south of 17 flat.
Site Choice
Ethan Shuley - Highlands
Shuley, a junior was the fastest Kentucky runner at the Trinity/Valkyrie Invitational with a 15:33.  That was a 33 second improvement from the year before for the Class AA #1 runner.
