Hillenbrand Becomes Second KY Native Under 4
Matt Hillenbrand, St. Xavier ’10 and current Kentucky Wildcat, became the second Kentucky Native under the 4:00 barrier for the mile. He joins fellow St. Xavier alumni, Bobby Curtis. Hillenbrand finished second in a loaded Iowa State Classic field with a time of 3:57.00. This puts him third in all of Division 1. He has also run 7:59 for 3000m this year, currently 16th in the college ranks.
