Amelia Reynolds, senior at Daviess County has committed to run for Indiana University next year. Reynolds is coming off a XC season that saw her finish 3rd overall in Class AAA at the State Meet and run a new PR of 17:55 at Foot Locker South. Last spring she was 4th overall in the 1600m Run at the State track meet.
Reynolds will join former Butler star Tretez Kinnaird at Indiana.
Reynolds on why she chose IU:
"I chose IU because it's just a great school. I'll be the third generation of my family there. It has a beautiful campus and a fantastic Track and XC program. I love the team and I'm really, really excited to run for Coach Helmer and Coach Walter."
