Bowling Green Frosh Madisyn Peeples becomes the first individual qualifier for Nike Cross Nationals in Kentucky history. Peeples ran a new career best time of 17:48.6 to finish 4th overall just 14 seconds behind the winner, Nora McUmber. She was 2nd overall in the Class AAA Kentucky State Championship earlier this month.
Peeples ran her previous best time of 17:57.6 at Great American on the same course in North Carolina.
