North Oldham senior Brianne Brown has signed to run and jump at the University of Louisville next year. She set the Class AA Kentucky State Record in the Long Jump last May with a leap of 18-06.50. This was following a career best jump at the Eastern Relays of 18-09. The best news for her is that both of those performances were done in the jump pit at the University of Louisville. This past summer she earned USATF All-American honors as well.
Besides the long jump, she is a 100m Dash and Hurdle specialist. She was the Class AA Runner-Up at 100m with a 12.56 last May.
