Meet Information
Youre team is invited to attend the 2011 Shelby County Invitational. Our course is all grass with rolling hills.
We had an extremely competitive meet in 2010, and we hope that you will consider attending the 2011
edition.
The changes we implemented last fall worked well for managing our numbers, so this years meet will be very
similar to last year. The race schedule and entry fees are as follows:
Girls Varsity 9:00am 5000m $40.00 (Team) $8.00(Individual) 10 athletes per team
Boys Varsity 9:45am 5000m $40.00(Team) $8.00(Individual) 10 athletes per team
Girls Junior Varsity 10:30am 5000m $40.00(Team) $8.00(Individual) 10 athletes per team
Boys Junior Varsity 11:15am 5000m $40.00(Team) $8.00(Individual) 10 athletes per team
High School Awards 12:00pm
Girls Middle School (grade 8 and under) 12:30pm 3000m $35.00(Team) $7.00(Individual) 7 athletes per team
Boys Middle School (grade 8 and under) 1:15pm 3000m $35.00(Team) $7.00(Individual) 7 athletes per team
Middle School Open (boys/girls combined) 1:45pm 3000m No charge if team entered above No limit
Girls Elementary (grade 5 and under) 2:15pm 1 mile $30.00(Team) $6.00(Individual) 7 athletes per team

Awards
Individuals: Top 10 individuals receive trophies, 11-25 receive medals.
Teams: Top 2 teams receive trophies.
Individual medals will be given out in the finish chute.
Top 10 individual and team awards presented at the completion of high school races, middle
school races and elementary races.
Entry Deadline
All entries are due on or before Friday, August 27th, 2011, via Hy-Teks Team Manager or
Team Manager Lite. Entries should be sent to:

Paper entries will be charged an additional $10 fee. Entries submitted after Friday, August
27th, will be charged an additional $30 late fee. The Hy-Tek meet file will be available later in
