Zac Garrard writes about his 1600m race at the Kentucky State Track Meet which included him falling with 20 meters to go.  He got up and was still able to cross the line for 3rd with a best time of 4:25.

The KHSAA Cross Country and Track Advisory Committee met last Friday in Lexington.  This group made up of coaches, officials, school administrators and KHSAA leadership make recommendations for changes to cross country and track in Kentucky.  Their recommendations are given to the KHSAA Board of Control to make the ultimate decision about any changes.    Here are some highlights from the meeting
