Buffalo Trace Conference Championship 2024

BUFFALO TRACE CONFERENCE 

CROSS COUNTRY CLASSIC 

Tuesday October 1st, 2024 - 5:15 PM 

Location: Mason County Cross Country Course, 721 Clarks Run Road, Maysville, KY 41056 

Only high schools with a current active membership status with the KHSAA and located in Bracken,  Fleming, Lewis, Mason, or Robertson Counties are eligible to compete in these races. 

THERE WILL BE AN ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE SCHOOL, and VARSITY RACE THIS YEAR. ALL RACES WILL BE  RUN AS MIXED GENDER BUT SCORED SEPERATELY. WE WILL PROCEED ON A ROLLING SCHEDULE. ALL  THREE DIVISIONS WILL RUN AS A MIXED GENDER RACE AND BE SCORED SEPERATELY.  

The elementary race will be 1600 meters, the middle school race will be 3000 meters. There are  unlimited entries in these races. Top 5 will score top 7 will displace. The varsity race will be 5000 meters  with unlimited entries. Top 5 score, top 7 displace other athletes, all others ignored in scoring system. 

Awards: 

Top 10 in each gender in Elementary and Middle School races will medal. First place team trophy for  each gender in each division. 

Varsity - 1stplace team trophy to each gender. 1ST thru 7th medal (1st team all conference), 8th thru  14th medal (2nd team all conference). 

Entry Fees: 

$35 per elementary team, $40 per middle school team, $45 per Varsity team - Boys and Girls are  separate teams - $150 Cover all Fee 

$10.00 per individual from schools with less than full team 

There will not be a parent admission. There will be a lite concessions for this meet.

Entries this year will be done on Mile Split. Because the race is limited to only certain schools, you will need to enter the password 2024bct in order to enter your athletes.
