Meet Information

The Louisville Catholic School Athletic Association ("CSAA") cordially invites all Archdiocese of Louisville catholic grade school teams to participate in the 35th running of the CSAA City Championship Meet and Fun Run.

LOCATION E.P. "Tom" Sawyer Park, 2800 Freys Hill Rd. Louisville, KY 40241. The course is located in the southeast corner of Sawyer Park. Follow signs to the BMX track. NOTE - THIS IS NOT THE MAIN PARK ENTRANCE.

HOW TO ENTER Submit entries via the website.  

ENTRY FEE $13 per runner for the Championship race. $7 per runner for the Fun Run. Do not pay via the website or send a check. The CSAA will bill your school directly.

ENTRY DEADLINE Entries are due by midnight Monday September 27.

DIVISION ELIGIBILITY RULES Participants must run in the division as dictated by their grade. A 5th or 6th grade runner may not compete on a 7-8th grade team.

TEAM SIZE A parish must compete with a minimum of four runners to receive a team score. There is no limit to the number of runners a parish may enter. Parishes may enter fewer than four runners but their finishing places will not count toward a team score. Schools may not merge teams.

SCORING Team scores will determined by totaling the scores of the first four runners of each team.

RACE NUMBERS Each runner will be assigned a bib number to be worn on the front of his/her uniform. THESE RACE NUMBERS MUST BE RETURNED UPON COMPLETION. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN A $10 FEE FOR EACH UNRETURNED NUMBER.

RACE RESULTS Individual and team results will be posted at the meet venue, sent to coaches via email the same evening and available at and shortly thereafter.

AWARDS In the Championship Meet, trophies will be awarded to Champion and Runner-Up teams. Medals will be presented to the first three finishers. Ribbons will be given to the first 20 individuals. Per CSAA policy, no team or individual awards will be given for the Fun Run.

STARTING LINE PROCEDURES Each team will be assigned its own starting box prior to the meet and will retain the same box for all races.

UNIFORMS All teams must wear matching shirts.

SPIKES Spikes are allowed.

PARKINGThe primary parking area is grass field directly across from the course. The BMX parking lot will be unavailable this year. DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS ANYWHERE IN THE PARK OTHER THAN IN THE DESIGNATED FIELD.

TENTS Tents are allowed anywhere other than on the actual courses and in the open area around the finish line.
