Meet Information
Given the number of entries, we are starting the meet at 6:00pm, rather than 6:30pm.
Both running and field events will start at 6pm.

AHS JV Mini-Meet
4 x 100m relay
1500m run
100m dash

Field events will include long jump and shot put.
Here's some basic info.
(1) We will be charging a $2 admission which must be purchased through an online link that I will email to everyone (hopefully tomorrow). There will be no cash sales at the gate. Please provide your parents and spectators with this information.
(2) The gate will open at 5:00pm. As there will likely be lacrosse practice going on, please tell your athletes to be careful.
(3) All athletes entered in a running event will be seeded into heats and placed in lanes. We will email this information to you. Coaches must provide this information to their athletes, but we will post a copy on the wall by our training room (behind the bleachers).
(4) If an athlete misses their heat, then we will not adjust heats so that they can still run.
(5) We will not allow adds after entries close.
(6) Please do not over-enter athletes in laned events.
(7) We will not have an open concession stand.
Here's some additional info about the format of the meet.
(1) Blocks will be optional in the 100, 200, 4 x 100 and 4 x 200
(2) We will not use blocks in the 400
(3) Jumpers will get 4 attempts
(4) Throwers will get 4 attempts
(5) We will not have exchange zone judges watching exchange zones during the relays. Unless a team is very obviously and significanly out of their zone, we do not plan to disqualify anyone for being out of their zone.
(6) As of now, the plan is to run 1 heat of boys 1500 (28 boys) and 1 heat of girls 1500 (22 girls), where we will very likely utilize alleys. The 1500 will start at the 300m start and runners will remain in the alleys until they pass through the far turn (i.e. 1 turn stagger).
(7) Exchange zones are as follows: 4 x 100 zones are yellow to yellow, and 4 x 200 zones are red to red (exchange 1), red to red (exchange 2), yellow to yellow (exchange 3).

If it is possible to run ahead, then we will run ahead, but this schedule at least gives athletes, coaches and parents an idea of when they'll run.
