The KTCCCA Meet of Champions has been broken up in to four separate meets at three different sites on three different days.

In the championships races, athletes must represent their school. Only one team per school will be

allowed in the championship races.

All extra runners can be entered in the Open Race at no charge if you have entered a championship team for that gender. $15 per individual

if you have not entered a championship team or $50.00 per team if you have not entered a championship team.

All entries must be done online at ky.milesplit.com Specific address is: 
Entry fees: $50 per team (girls and boys are separate teams). $15.00 per individual.

See the tentative schedule. Races will be in groups of 250 with five waves of 50 runners each, roughly 125 girls and 125 boys in those waves. The waves will include your championship runners as well as your open runners, such as 100 championship girls, 100 championship boys and 50 open girls and boys combined all from the same teams or any combination thereof. There will be designated times for arrival for each grouping and we would like each grouping to leave after their last wave. Awards will be mailed out the following week. You and your team should be in and out of the park in about an hour and a half.


MIDDLE SCHOOL, 6TH AND UNDER, 4TH AND UNDER INFO -- Please read the following eligibility

requirements.

1) ALL students, regardless of affiliation, competing in the Meet of Champions

(MOC) MUST have a coach who is a member of the KTCCCA. Membership forms are

available on the KTCCCA website:www.ktccca.org

2) To be eligible to compete in the MOC team championship races, a team must be

affiliated with the school they attend and recognized as part of the Kentucky

public or private school systems.

3) Students must run for their school teams in the MOC Their school is defined

as the school that a student attends for 50% or more of his or her primary

educational hours during that season. Students may run up with the team of the

school that their current school feeds directly into, not the high school that

the schools feed into. If no direct feeder system exists, running up with

another school is not permitted.

4) Students who are home schooled or who attend schools without cross country

programs may run as individuals in the MOC. For those students who attend

schools without designated cross country programs, parents/coaches must work

with the school administration to have approval for those students to represent

their schools.


5) Subject to the requirements of section 3, any student on a club team can

compete in the open races.

All runners in the championship races must represent their school. There are no

"UNATTACHED" athletes in the elementary, middle school, or high

school championship races.

Coaches who are members of the KTCCCA will be the only people admitted free.
Coaches must be

members of the KTCCCA for their coaches or individuals to compete in the Meet

of Champions. Check the www.ktccca.org webpage for application and current

memberships.
