This Meet is very spectator friendly.
Directions
(From Hurstbourne Pkwy & Taylorsville Rd,) Take Taylorsville road east to Waterson trail
Turn right on Waterson Trail go 2 blocks
Turn left on Billtown rd, go 2 miles
Turn left on Mary Dell to Vettiner Park
From Snyder Freeway take Billtown Rd exit, go north 2 miles turn right on Mary Dell Rd.
GATE
There will be an admission charge - $3 Adults, $1 students (non-runners)

DERBY CITY Meet - Covid Plan - Cross Country 2020
Masks
Everyone must wear protective mask
while at the meet. This includes all competitor before and after each race.
Competitors will take their masks of at the staring line and will be required
to put them back on immediately following their race.
Temperature check
Before entering the meet area in
the park everyone will have their temperatures checked.
This includes all runners and
spectators. This will be accomplished by roping off the area and having
several entry spots where temperatures will be checked. No one will be allowed
entry with a temperature of 100.4 or higher.
Competition
Each race will be limited to about
50 competitors. They will be spaced out at the starting line. All ribbons and
medals will be handed out as they cross the finish line. There will not be an
awards ceremony at the end of the meet. So all competitors will be encourage to
leave immediately following their race.
Restrooms
Restroom facilities will have a hand sanitizing table.
Water
There will be no community water stations.
All athletes will be required to bring their own personal water bottle.
