Meet Information
DATE: Tuesday, September 24, 2019
LOCATION: Woodford County Park/Falling Springs. 275 Beasley
Rd. Versailles, KY 40383. Teams can setup any tents in the paddock area next to
the start/finish line area.
FEE: $75 per school will cover all four races (Middle School
Girls, Middle School Boys, Girls Varsity, and Boys Varsity). Make checks
payable to: Woodford County Cross Country with memo line Cross Country CKC Fee.

AWARDS: Winner and runner-up team trophies (boys and girls),
Top 25 finishers of each race (First place will receive a plaque as CKC runner
of the year, 2-7 will receive trophies, and 8-25 ribbons). Middle school awards
are the same as the Varsity only smaller in size.
TIME: 5:30PM 1st Race: Combined Middle School (Boys and
Girls),
2nd Race High school girls Varsity,
3rd Race, High school boys Varsity.
Meet will follow a rolling time schedule.
DISTANCE: Middle school 3000m (3K)
High School Varsity 5000m (5K)
TEAM SIZE: A limit of 10 runners per school, per gender. 10 high school boys, 10 high school girls, 10 middle school boys, 10 middle school girls.
Two alternates may be entered in case of emergencies. Bib numbers will be used.
MEETING: Coaches meeting before or after the meet to
determine if there needs to be any changes to the meet format, cost, rotation,
awards, new CKC contract, etc.
UNIFORM: KHSAA uniform rule will be enforced.
Bill Smith will be the referee/starter. Leslie Smith is timing/results.
