The Henry Clay Cross Country team would like to invite you and your team to attend the Henry Clay/Tanner Duke
Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, August 31, 2019. Tanner Duke was a runner on the Henry Clay cross country team who passed away in January 2014. This race will be held at Masterson Station Park on Leestown Road in Lexington, KY.
RACES
8:15 AM Girls' Middle School 3k (grades 6-8) $40 (unlimited runners)
8:45 AM Boys' Middle School 3k (grades 6-8) $40 (unlimited runners)
9:15 AM Girls' Varsity 5k $50 (10 runners)
9:45 AM Boys' Varsity 5k $50 (10 runners)
10:15 AM Girls' Reserve 5k $45 (unlimited runners)
10:45 AM Boys' Reserve 5k $45 (unlimited runners)
11:20 AM Girls' Elementary 2K (grades K-5) $35 (unlimited runners)
11:45 AM Boys' Elementary 2K (grades K-5) $35 (unlimited runners)
Schools that do not have enough to run a team may pay for individuals. Individual runners are $5 per person.
Reserve prices are per team.
There is no limit on the number of runners in the elementary, middle, and reserve races. A varsity team is made up of 10 runners.
AWARDS
Team trophies will be given to the first, second, and third place teams in all races. Individual winners will receive a trophy, and 2-20 will receive medals.
SITE INFO
Entrance to the Park: Please stress to your parents the importance of paying attention to the signs when parking. XC parking will be on the first road that goes to the left.
Restrooms are available.
A concession stand will be available. T-shirts will be sold.
Please tell parents/spectators to expect a $5 admission per person. There is no parking fee.
Leslie Smith (leslielsmith@att.net) will be the HyTek operator.
Register/enter via MileSplit.The deadline is Wednesday, August 28 at 9:00 pm.

DIRECTIONS TO MASTERSON STATION PARK:
Mapquest.com Destination address 3051 Leestown Rd, Lexington, Ky for better directions.
From I-64 west- Take Exit 65. Turn right. Go down the hill to the intersection. Turn left toward Lexington. Go 7.8 miles. Turn left into Masterson Station Park.
From Bluegrass Parkway west-Take Bluegrass Parkway to Versailles Road. Go to New Circle Rd. Take New Circle north to Rt. 421 Exit. Turn left. Go 2.2 miles to Masterson Station Park on your right.
I-75 North- Take Exit 115 Rt 922. Turn right. Go to New Circle Rd and turn right on to New Circle Rd. Take Exit 7. turn right. Go 2.1 miles. Turn right into Masterson Station Park.
I-75 South- Take Exit 113 Turn right on to Broadway. Go to New Circle Rd. Turn right on to New Circle. Take Exit 7. turn right. Go 2.1 miles. Turn right into Masterson Station Park.
I- 64 East. Turn north on I-75 and follow above directions for I-75 South.
