Please review this Map of CAL's facility. 

We are very appreciative to CAL for allowing us to use their facility.  We need to be respectful of their expectations for parking, tent placement, and arrival time.  CAL has a morning event and their facility will not be open for the track meet under 11am.  Please, coaches, let parents know that the admission gate will not be open before 11am.

We will make every effort to keep athletes off the turf.  No warm-ups should be on the turf and athletes should not wear spikes on the turf.

Update (5/6): Due to construction delays at Eastern this year's meet will be contested at Christian Academy of Louisville (Address:700 S English Station Rd, Louisville, KY 40245). We have also updated the start time to reflect other events on the Christian Academy Campus. The meet will now begin at 12 noon, and teams/individuals are asked not to arrive on CAL's Campus until 11:00am.

Also, due to requests from coaches we are adding a 3200m Run and 4x200m Relay to the schedule for athletes hoping to hit the state qualifying time.

This meet is open to any middle school (grades 8 and under).The entry fee for each team is $70. One check may be issued in the amount of $140 for both teams (boys and girls together). Individuals can enter for $10.Any fees not paid on/before meet day will be charged a $20 collection fee.Please make checks payable to Eastern Track Boosters and mail to Eastern High School c/o Mike Horan, 12400 Old Shelbyville Rd., Louisville, KY 40243.

Interested teams/coaches, please register on milesplitto be included in future correspondence.We will accept entries until Tuesday, May 14th unless the meet fills before that.

Field events: Open pit (boys and girls) Long jump followed by Open pit (boys and girls) Triple Jump, High Jump (girls followed by boys), Pole Vault- Boys and Girls together, Boys- Shot Put followed by Discus, Girls- Discus followed by Shot Put, TurboJav run concurrently.

Each athlete is limited to a maximum of 4 events. We will include 2 open events (100m and 800m) where you can enter all of your "extra" or "JV"athletes.These events are unlimited entries so you can enter any developmental athletes. For all remaining events,teams are limited to 2 entries for each individual event and one relay team for

each relay event. Schools may enter a B team in the meet for an additional team entry fee.Events will not be broken up by grade.All ages will run together.

Admission will be charged to all spectators: $5.00 for adults.

Concessions will be available.

Awards: Medals will be given to the top 3 places in each event and ribbons to places 4-8. There will also be 1st and 2nd place team trophies.

Entries will be submitted electronically via milesplit.

Competitor numbers will be assigned and emailed to coaches prior to the meet. They will also be available in the packets handed out at the coaches meeting.Every athlete, including open entries must be entered in milesplit. Any teams adding athletes to the roster on meet day will be charged $10/athlete (in addition to the entry fee) but this convenience will only be allowed on a small scale.We will not allow entire teams or large groups of athletes to enter on meet day.
