Meet Information
Hello Everyone,
Thanks for your interest in our first elementary meet at Lafayette High School! We look forward to hosting this event annually!
Entries:
Entries need to be made online vialhselementarymeet.milesplit.com & entrieswill close Sunday, May 5th at midnight.
We have decided to run this meet as an all-comers to allow all athletes the opportunity to compete as much as possible. Unattached athletes may compete as well.
There will be no team or unattached entry fee, but there will be a charge for spectators at the gate ($6 for adults and $4 for students).
Concessions will be available for purchase at the meet.
Each athlete is limited to compete in a total of 4 events, including relays.
Awards:There will be trophies for the following:
Boys & girls champion and runner up in the following divisions (except K-2nd division is combined):
1. K, 1st & 2nd grade (combined)
2.3rd & 4th grade (boy & girl)
3.5th & 6th grade (boy & girl)
There will also be an overall team champion & runner up trophy (for combined in K-2nd then both boys & girls for 3rd-4th & 5th-6th) presented to the team with the highest points overall. There will not be individual event awards for this meet.

Field Events:
long jump (open pit for boys and girls)
shot put (6#)(9-10 & 11-12) boys then girls
shot put (2Kg, 8 & Under) boys then girls
TurboJav (300 grams) girls then boys
Time: The meet will start at 5:30 PM & should finish no later than 8:00 PM.
