2019 Villa Madonna Viking Raid

Date: April 29, 2019

Time: 4:45 PM (Coaches Meeting at Finish Line 4:30 PM)

Location: Walton-Verona Athletic Complex.

Directions from Covington, KY: Take I-75 south. Just past Richwood (exit 175) I-75 and I-71 split. Take I-71 toward Louisville. Go approximately 4 miles to the Verona exit (exit 72.)Take a right off the exit and travel about a mile. On the left, just past Rice Autobody will be the WV Athletic Complex.

Cost: $75.00 per team.

(Boys and Girls are two separate teams.) For teams with less than 7 athletes a flat fee of $10 per athlete will be charged. Make all checks payable to Villa Madonna Academy Athletics Department.

Participants: All public and private middle schools. Meet is limited to 18 total teams maximum. 

Entries: Only 2 athletes per event and 1 relay team per event. 4 events maximum per athlete. "B" & "C" squads/teams will be charged an additional full team fee. All entries will be done online via Milesplit.

Entry Deadline: April 25, 2019

Scoring: 10-8-6-4-2-1. We will use WV's LYNX system which features FAT. The Sprint 8 timing system will be used for back up for timing.

Awards: Medals to event winners, ribbons 2-6. Top Boy and Top Girl team trophy.

Running Events: Regular order of events. All heats are final. The 3200 will not be contested. We will also run 200 hurdles not 300 hurdles. The 400 meter and 4x400 may be combined into one girls and one boys heat depending on entries and time. 

Field Events: All field events will be finals with 3 attempts. All rounds following round #1 will be on a rolling schedule. We will not contest the pole vault.
