Hite Invitational 2018

Thank you for your interest in the Hite Invitational! The meet is at capacity as of 8/23. Teams who have registered will continue to be able to update entries until registration closes on 9/7/18.

The Hite Invitational is the premier event for your elementary school athletes to compete against other runners at their own grade level. We offer graded races and generous awards to encourage these young runners to fall in love with the sport of cross-country.

Schedule:

Races are on a rolling schedule with the first race starting at 5:00 p.m. Click on the distance to open the course map.

K - 1 grade girls then boys - 800 m
Second grade girls then boys - 800 m
Third grade girls then boys - 1100 m
Fourth grade girls then boys - 3000 m
Fifth grade girls then boys - 3000 m
Fourth & Fifth grade girls then boys Open - 1500 m

Trophies will be awarded to the top 5 boy and top 5 girl finishers in each race. Medals will be awarded for places 1 - 50. Due to the graded races, team trophies will not be awarded.

Race and Parking fees include applicable 6% Kentucky sales and use tax.

Entry fee is $3.00 per registered runner due before September 7. Checks should be made payable to Hite Elementary. Enter online at KYTrackXC. Due to space, this meet is capped at 900 runners, so please enter only those runners you are bringing to the meet. There are no refunds for non-participating runners. Registration closes on the earlier of reaching meet capacity or September 5.Please be on site at least 30 minutes prior to your race. Races will be run on a rolling schedule beginning at 5:00.

Parking:

Parking is $5 per vehicle.Since space is limited, please try to carpool. ADA accessible parking is located at Hite. General parking is on the Eastern High School grounds. Coach's parking will be in the gravel lot by Eastern's baseball field and will require a parking pass - only one coach's parking pass per team. Teams may not arrive prior to 4:00 p.m. due to school dismissal. No meet traffic will be admitted on Hite School Road until dismissal traffic has cleared. Parking attendants will be on site to direct traffic. Please encourage as much carpooling as possible to help ease congestion on Old Shelbyville Road.

There will be a concession stand available.
