Run for the Roses 3200 2018

Louisville, KY
Hosted by Male

Meet Information

The fourth annual Run for the Roses 3200 will be held at Louisville Male High School on the morning of Derby Day (Saturday, May 5, 2018), beginning at 8:00 AM. Fern Creek is unable to host the meet this year, so we are holding down the fort.

The 3200 will be the only event contested, and the meet should take less than an hour. Heats will be mixed gender, with male and female athletes seeded by time. Last year, we had over 60 athletes from 11 schools, with finish times ranging from 10:11 to 18:24.

This is a FREE event with unlimited entries. You are welcome to bring your whole distance group if you would like. The more runners, the deeper the races, and the faster everyone runs. This could be used as a culminating race for your JV athletes or a pre-regional tuneup for your varsity athletes.

All Registration will be handled through the meet's Milesplit page. Please be sure to input seed times for your athletes when entering the meet. If your athlete doesn't have a 3200 meter time, please make a best estimate based on other performances.

Awards will be given for athletes finishing 1st (Win), 2nd (Place), and 3rd (Show) in each gender.
