KCD MIDDLE SCHOOL TRACK INVITATIONAL

Dear Coach,
Kentucky Country Day School invites your team to participate in the 20th Annual KCD Bearcat Invitational on Friday, April 14, 2017. This invitational will be run on our rubberized 6-lane track. Each team is limited to 3 total entries per event and one relay team. The entry fee is $75 per gender team. No A and B teams. One team per gender. Medals will be given to the top three places in each event and the top boys and girls team will receive a team plaque in each division.
General Information:
1. Coaches meeting at 4:00 p.m. in the press box. Coaches will be assigned duties for the meet.
2. Field events will begin at 4:30 p.m.
3. Running events will begin at 4:45 p.m.
4. Each team may enter 2 individuals and 1 relay per event in each division.
5. No athlete may enter more than 4 events.
6. There will be 3 jumps or throws for all field events. No finals.
7. Running event places will be against the clock. No finals.
8. Athletes will be scratched from the event if they do not report by the 3rd call, regardless of teams arriving late. The staging area is at the end of the track at the 100M line.
9. Athletes are not to be near the finish line unless waiting for their race to start and are sent by the coach in the staging area.
10. Awards will be given to the coaches in an envelope at the END of the meet.
11. Concession stand and restrooms will be available for participants and fans.
12. There will be a gate charge of $5 per adult and $2 per youth.
13. KHSAA rules will be followed.
14. Please keep everyone off the football field inside the track. Walk around the outside of the fence.
15. Tents must be located in the open areas outside the fence.
16. NO tents will be allowed in the stands.

Long Jump: Open Pit boys and girls can go at the same time
*No Triple Jump
High Jump: Boys 1st Girls 2nd
Shot Put: Boys 1st Girls 2nd
Discus: Girls 1st Boys 2nd
