This meet has been canceled. Westport Middle School is now serving as the host for the Area 3 Championships. An online meet registration has been created. Below is info for the new race.
Area 3 Championships 2016 Cross Country Season
Westport Middle School invites your school to compete in the Area 3 Championships to feature the area talents of high school, middle school, and elementary school student-athletes. Due to the cancellation of the previously scheduled meet, we have agreed to host this years championships.
AWARDS: The first and second place teams in points will be awarded the Champion and Runner-up trophy for each division. Medals will also be awarded to the Top 15 competitors in each race.
TEAM COST: HS, MS & ES - $20 per team (Unlimited Entries) / Individual Athletes - $5
If you bring boys or girls only, that is considered one team. If you bring boys and girls, that is considered two teams.
SCHEDULE: Due to the earlier sunset on Oct. 18 (7:00 pm), we will be running mixed races.
5:15 - HS Mixed 5:45 - MS Mixed 6:15 - 6th & Under Mixed 6:35 - 4th & Under Mixed
Awards to Follow
ATTENTION: We do ask that all athletes do not report to Westport before 4:30 pm, as we are also a Bus Depot for JCPS.
There will be a $5 Charge per Car, so please carpool.
