CLASS 1A REGION 7 PREMEET INFORMATION AND ENTRIES
Coaches please be sure to fill all 8 spots on rely entries. The 8 listed are the only ones eligible to run at the state meet.
1. Tuesday, May 17th by 9:00PM, 4 days prior to the regional meet, all entries for region 1A region 7 need to be sent. After this time, an athlete may be added only to replace an injured or ill competitor. Documentation, must be signed by a physician or athlete trainer and presented to the regional meet referee. Since the entry process is done via kytrackxc.com, the window will close at 9PM on this day, NO EXCEPTIONS.
2. Wednesday, May 18th by 11:00AM, 3days prior to the regional meet, the manager shall distribute a preliminary performance listing
3. Thursday, May 19th 2 days before the region meet, any challenge to seed times shall be submitted. Challenges will be handled by the meet manager in consultation with the meet referees. The name of the challenging coach or administrator shall not be given at any time.
4. Friday, May 20th. 1 day before the regional meet, the final performance list will be sent. There will be no substitutions unless there is documentation to the assigned KHSAA referee of an injury that was not known to the coach prior to the entry deadline.
5. Saturday May 21th, 3:30PM Regional meet at Russell High School, 709 Red Devil Lane, Flatwoods, KY. Coaches bring the following KHSAA forms with you: TR112 Four Meet Verification, TR122 Pole Vault Verification, have your principal or AD sign the forms and the TR120 Medical/Inhaler, if you have an athlete that needs to use an inhaler during competition.
MEET ENTRIES INFORMATION: There is no event file to import/download for registration this will be done online at ky.milesplit.com, click on calendar section and look for Class A Region 7.
VERIFICATION OF ENTRY TIMES/DISTANCES: Member schools are responsible for ensuring that accurate times/distance are entered.
All coaches must be able to verify times/distance that are entered for an athlete.
Entry times/distance for the regional meet may be FAT (Fully Automated Timing) or HT (Hand Times). All HT times must be properly converted per NFHS Rule 3-9-4. If any HT is recorded in hundredths, it shall be rounded up to the nearest tenth of a second, and .24 added.
Any time/distance which cannot be verified, cannot be used.
The only acceptable verification of meet results will be submissions to the KHSAA web site. KHSAA will forward all results to the web manager of KTCCCA.org and kytrackxc.com for their usage.
CLASS 1A REGION 7 AWARDS EXPENSE BREAK DOWN: The expense for medals and trophies has been passed onto the region and host school. We ask that each school pay for all of the medals & trophies provided by the KHSAA. Medals and trophies are $468.70 per gender. $468.70 X 2 = $937.40 (boys and girls).

$937.40 divided by 22 schools =$43.00 rounded up. The cooperation from each school is greatly appreciated. PLEASE MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: Raceland High School and mail to Randy Helton at Raceland High School, 500 Rams BLVD, Raceland, KY 41169.
