Williamstown Middle School Invitational 2016
Date: Monday, March 21st, 2016
Time: 4:45PM (Coaches meeting done via Listserve)
Location: Walton-Verona Athletic Complex.
Directions from Covington, KY: Take I-75 south. Just past Richwood (exit 175) I-75 and I-71 split. Take I-71 toward Louisville. Go approximately 4 miles to the Verona exit (exit 72). Take a left off the exit and travel about mile. On the left, just past Rice Autobody will be the WV Athletic Complex.
Cost: $75.00 per team. (Boys and Girls are two separate teams). For teams with less than 7 athletes a flat fee of $10.00 per athlete will be charged. Make all checks payable to Williamstown Jr./Sr. High School
Participants: All public and private middle schools.
Entries: Only 2 athletes per event and 1 relay team per event. 3 events maximum per athlete. B squads will be charged an additional full team fee and will need a separate Hy-Tek Entry . You will also need to download, complete and send back the event file for Hy-Tek purposes.
Entry Deadline: Thursday, March 17, 2016
Scoring: 10-8-6-4-2-1. We will use our LYNX system which features FAT. The Sprint 8 timing system will be used for back up for timing.
Awards: Top 2 teams and top 3 individuals (In Each Event).
Running Events: Regular order of events. All heats are final. The 3200 will not be contested. We will also run the 200 hurdles not 300 hurdles.
Field Events: All field events will be finals with 3 attempts. All rounds following round #1 will be on a rolling schedule. We will not contest the pole vault.
