Walton-Verona Regional Preview 2015
Date: Tuesday, May 5th 2015
Time: 4:30 PM for fields. Running starts at 5:00 PM (Coaches meeting will take place via Email)
Location: Walton-Verona Athletic Complex
Directions from Covington, KY: Take I-75 south. Just past Richwood (exit 175) I-75 and I-71 split. Take I-71 toward Louisville. Go approximately 4 miles to the Verona exit (exit 72). Take a left off the exit and travel about mile. On the left, just past Rice Autobody will be the WV Athletic Complex.
Cost: $60.00 per team (Boys and Girls are two separate teams). Make all checks payable to WVHS Track & Field. There is also a minimal parking fee for non-athletes. Concessions will also be available.
Participants: Class "A" schools.
Entries: Only 2 athletes per event and 1 relay team per event. 4 events maximum per athlete.
No "B" Teams.

Entry Deadline: Sunday, May 3rd 2015
Scoring: 10-8-6-4-2-1. We will use our LYNX system which features FAT. The Sprint 8 timing system will be used for back up for timing.
Awards: Top 2 teams and top 3 individuals.
Running Events: Regular order of events. All heats are final. Meet will run on the Regional Time Schedule.
Field Events: All field events will be formatted like the Regional meet. 3 jumps in prelims and then top 7 jumpers/throwers will make it to finals to receive 3 more attempts. We will not contest the pole vault.
