Meet Information
Fairview High School in Ashland, KY would like to invite your cross-country team to
the 2012 Fairview High School Invitational Cross Country Meet. This years invitational
will be Saturday, September 8, 2012 on the Fairview Cross Country Course next to the
Fairview High School football field, Wheatley Rd. Ashland, KY.
Race information and entry fees:
Varsity: schools may enter unlimited runners, but only the top five (5) will count on
the team score and only the top seven (7) will score. The varsity race will be 5000 meters.
The team entry fee is $40.00 per team and $75.00 if you enter both varsity girls &
Boys team. $5.00 per individual. You can deduct $5.00 per team if you enter by using
team-lite or team manager.
Middle School: schools may enter unlimited runners, but only the top five (5) will
count as the team score and only the top seven (7) will score. The middle school race will
be about 3000 meters. The team entry fee is $30.00 per team and $55.00 if you enter
both a girls team and boys team. $5.00 per individual. You can deduct $5.00 per team
if you enter by using team-lite or team manager.
Elementary: schools may enter unlimited runners, but only the top five (5) will count
as the team score and only the top seven (7) will score. The elementary race will be
about 1600 meters. The team entry fee will be $25.00 per team and $45.00 if you enter
both a girls and boys team. $4.00 per individual. You can deduct $5.00 per team it you
enter by using team-lite or team manager
*** Athletes may not run in more than one race.
Awards:
Team: trophies for the top three teams in each varsity each race, trophies
for the top two teams in the middle school and elementary races. Again this year, we
will be presenting the Bill Musick trophy for the lowest combine score from the girls
and boys varsity races. T-shirts & trophies to the top individuals based on the number
of entries for each race.
