With Gabriella Karas and Jacob Thompson both having a chance to finish in the top ten and go on to Nationals. I wonder if a young man and young lady had ever done it before from the state of Kentucky in the same year. I was amazed at what I found. It has happen 5 times. In 1986, 1992, 1998, 2002, and 2004. 2004 Michael Eaton (8) and Carmin Mims (3) 2002 Bobby Curtis (1) and Maddie Schueler (8) 1998 David Christian (3) and Sara Grabill (4) 1992 Jeramy Kazlauskas (5) and Kathi Ward (2), Mureen Egan (5) 1986 Jimmy Hearld (8) and Wendy Frazier (4) We also have a chance to send two teams (male and female) to Nike Championship in Oregon.
With Gabriella Karas and Jacob Thompson both having a chance to finish in the top ten and go on to Nationals.
@KYinNC If your are talking about both qualifying for Footlocker Nationals, then we will need Whitney O'Bryan, Samantha Simms, Maggie Allen, or Cassidy Hale (or someone else that I missed) to make a run at it. As far as I know, Karas isn't running FLCC.

Wonder how many Footlocker top 10 were from the same school in the same year like Christian and Graybill?

I forgot, she is only an eight grader. You have to be an nine grader to run in the championship race.

It does not look like it is happening this year. (2018) The young men might make top ten FL, but the young ladies, not at this time.
