Sounds goofy to ask but there is so much on the site, so what is your favorite part of the site? Mine personally are the all-time rankings which I look at more in the off-season. I really like taking the track events and scoring the all-time list like a XC meet, shows who has the best depth. All-time 3200m scored as an XC meet 1 St. Xavier 33 1) Bobby Curtis 8:48.39 1 2) Zack Beavin 9:13.15 5 3) Connor Sheryak 9:14.92 6 4) Brian Long 9:16.20 8 5) Scott McClain 9:19.15 13 During the season I run virtual meets all the time. Really cool feature that lays it out in a race format based on best time this year or average. I always look at the average time as it usually gives you the best sense of the runner's season. This is part of the reason I have been diligent about getting the teams entered into a meet on the meet page so you can see what the race might look like (virtually.) Plus it is cool that you can take individual runners off and see how scoring changes for the virtual meet.
Is there a way to score 800m and 1600m the same way?
@runpinkbunny Yes, if you look at the address bar at the top you can change the event from 3200 to 800 or 1600 and the gender from m to f if you want. Highlands is way up there in the 800m.

It seems more and more that a subscription is needed to view things. I completely understand why, but until I have means to pay for one, I am restricted as to what I can see. But back when I did have one, I loved to see the breakdown of rankings by region, especially for Track.

I'll figure it out eventually! By the way, I am out for Memphis. I am recovering from a pulled muscle in my back and won't be ready in time.. what a shame!

@runpinkbunny What Mike means is: This is Jonathan's URL for the 3200 - http://ky.milesplit.com/teamscores/all/outdoor/hs/m/3200m?co=&l=0&m=50&cn=&r= Change the bolded "m" to an "f" for girls. Change 3200m to 1600m or 800m or whatever for another event.

As a high school runner I really enjoy reading the previews and recaps to see what other people think of our school and our competition.

Jonathan, I hate to be a pest about Owensboro Senio High School. But, during the 1973 Region 1AA CC championship, OHS set some records that should be brought to the attention of present day readers. This is one meet at Ben Hawes golf course. Owensboro's top five times were: John Jones 9:15.7 Harley Trogdlen 9:16 Jeff Miller 9:19 (miller was getting over a illness. He won state title the next week.) Gary Fennell 9:41 Craig Waltrip 10:03 That is a average time of 9:31 which would place it all time 3rd on the list. Adding Tim Martin(1980) 9:29 and Steve Potts 9:31 would take the average time down to 9:22 which is second on the list. Let me say, I agree about ST. X. they are unbeatable.
