Former Greenwood/UL Runner Michael Eaton is running in the IAAF World Half Marathon Championship Saturday in Bulgaria. He was named to the team after finishing 4th in the US Half Marathon Championship in Minnesota in June.
Michael was the original main target for coverage in the first year of KYtrackXC.com. He was a multi-time state champion while at Greenwood High School in Bowling Green and a member of the 2006 Junior World Championship squad that competed in Japan. He went to be a national championship qualifier in XC and the 10K in track while at the University of Louisville.

The Men's Race will begin at 11:00 AM in Kavarna, Bulgaria. (That is 4 AM Eastern Time on Saturday.)
