Seniors Cidnei Johnson and Kaysee O'Bannon of Ballard High School in Louisville signed yesterday to compete Bellarmine University in Louisville.
Cidnei has been one of the best sprinters in Class AAA over the last three years including a top seven finish in the 100m Dash each year. She finished fourth last year in the 100m Dash at the Kentucky State Track Meet and came back to finish 5th in the 200m Dash as well.
Kaysee took off last year exploding onto the scene as a top sprinter in the state. That success led to a 5th place finish in the 100m Dash and a 3rd place finish in the 200m Dash at the Kentucky State Track Meet last year. She was 6th in the 200m Dash in 2010.
Each of them started off the season at the Wildcat Classic last week. Kaysee finished 2nd in the 200m Dash while Cidnei was 4th in the 60m Dash.
