High School Boys – Cody Parks (East Jessamine)
Parks, a junior at East Jessamine finished second at the Tates Creek Invitational in Lexington crossing into the 15s for the first time ever. He ran a new best time of 15:51. He has shown improvement each week finishing first or second in a race seven times this fall. His best time has improved by over 2 and half minutes from last year.
High School Girls – Lauren Ossege (Highlands)
Ossege, an 8th grader at Highlands won the Williamstown Invitational with a new best time of 19:01. In her third victory this season she won by forty one seconds crossing into the 19s for the first time this fall.
Middle School Girls – Presley Warren (Holy Name)
Warren, a 6th grader at Holy Name of Jesus in Henderson won the Elementary Race at the Mustang Stampede in Greenville. Her winning time of 11:43 beat second place by over one minute.
Middle School Boys – Josh Grogan (Northeast YMCA)
Grogan, an 8th grader who competes for the Northeast YMCA won the Middle School Boys race at the North Hardin Invitational. He ran the 2400m course in 8:44 to win by almost thirty seconds.
