The Kentucky Wesleyan College Board of Trustees has granted
President Dr. Craig Turner full authority to pursue membership in a new NCAA Division II conference in and around the Ohio River Valley Region, according to David Williams, director of athletics on Monday
“Six members at this point who are fully dedicated to a new conference are Cedarville University from Cedarville, Ohio; Central State University from Wilberforce, Ohio; Notre Dame College from South Euclid, Ohio, Urbana University from Urbana, Ohio; Ursuline College from Pepper Pike, Ohio and KWC,” said Williams.
“We believe that this is the best fit at this moment for KWC, academically, socially, athletically and budgetary for our student-athletes. Our goal to provide the best student-athlete experience for every single student-athlete in our 13-sport program.”
The Panthers participate in baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, football, men's and women's golf, men's and women's soccer, softball, women's tennis and volleyball.
