TERRE HAUTE, Ind.--The Bellarmine men's and women's cross country teams put on dominant performances today and won both divisions at Rose-Hulman's Gibson Family Invitational held at the Gibson National Cross Country Course this afternoon.

The Bellarmine men's team claimed an astounding five of the top six spots in the eight kilometer race to post a near-perfect score of 18 to easily win the team title.  The Knights were led by Jordan Parayil, who captured the individual title in a time of 26:14.

On the women's side, Bellarmine placed four runners in the top 10 as they successfully defended their 2010 Gibson Family Invitational victory.  The Knights were paced by Emily Frith, who placed second overall with a five kilometer time of 23:19.

Bellarmine hopes to keep the momentum rolling as they head into the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships for their next meet on Oct. 22 in Evansville, Ind.  The women's squad is the defending GLVC Champion, and the men's team is coming off a solid third place finish in 2010.
