NEW ORLEANS – The Bellarmine University men's cross country team fell two spots to No. 17 in this week's United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll.
Staying idle this week, the team has not run since finishing 4th overall, 1st among non-Div.-I schools, at the National Catholic Invitational in South Bend, Ind. on Sept. 16.
The Knights also remained at No. 3 in the Midwest Regional rankings, one spot behind GLVC rival Southern Indiana.
Bellarmine is one of four Midwest teams to appear in the national rankings as, Grand Valley State (No. 3), Southern Indiana (No. 6), and Ashland (No. 24) are also ranked.
Bellarmine will return to action this weekend when they run in the 10th annual Greater Louisville Classic at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park.
