Seven student-athletes earn USTFCCCA All-Academic honors

NEW ORLEANS --- Seven members of the Bellarmine University men's and women's track and field have earned All-Academic honors by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as Molly Culbertson, Kristin Hamrick, Carissa Martin, Angela Musk, and Meghan Shagena were five of the 331 female student-athletes honored and Bryan Gennett and Elliot Mattingly were named on the men's side.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have met an NCAA automatic or provisional qualifying mark in an individual or relay event at some point in either indoor or outdoor seasons.

Bellarmine led all Great Lakes Valley Conference schools with seven athletes with the University of Indianapolis placing six student-athletes on the list.

Team All-Academic awards will be named on Tuesday, August 9 (women) and Thursday, August 11 (men).
