42 student-athletes earn Academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors

42 student-athletes earn Academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors

Forty-two Kentucky Wesleyan College student-athletes were named to the 2011 Great Lakes Valley Conference All-Academic Team.

The Panthers were led by the college's four-time honorees Harrison Price (golf) a senior from Owensboro/Daviess County HS; Katie Robertson (soccer) a senior from Paris/Bourbon County HS; and Hannah York (volleyball) a senior from Harrisburg, Ill./Harrisburg HS.

Three-time selections include are Maddy Bogle (tennis) a junior from Terre Haute, Ind./South Vigo HS; Haley Chrzastowski (volleyball) a junior from Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington North HS; Will Earle (golf) a senior from Greenville/Muhlenberg South HS; Emily Harpenau (volleyball) a senior from Tell City, Ind./Tell City HS; Kristen Rowe (basketball) a junior from Burkesville/Cumberland County HS; Amy Staples (golf) a junior from Bedford/Trimble County HS; Courtney Wallace (golf) a junior from West Paducah/Heath HS; Sam Waninger (soccer) a junior from Rockport, Ind./Heritage Hills HS; and Jordan White (baseball) a junior from Leitchfield/Grayson County HS.

Two-time recipients are Alicja Augustynska (tennis) a senior from Nowa Wies, Poland; Katie Behrens (basketball) a junior from Florence/Boone County HS; Ashley Clever (volleyball) a sophomore from Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington North HS; Lauren Goffinet (basketball) a sophomore from Tell City, Ind./Tell City HS; Ben Hedges (baseball) a junior from Owensboro/Owensboro Catholic HS; Sarah Pedigo (volleyball) a sophomore from Lafayette, Ind./Harrison HS; and Kristen Utley (soccer) a senior from Newburgh, Ind./Castle HS.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.4.
