Kentucky Wesleyan College is a leader in liberal arts and professional education with a long-standing reputation for quality and academic excellence.  Currently serving approximately 800 students, KWC provides a challenging and supportive academic experience in conjunction with a competitive and successful athletics program.

Kentucky Wesleyan College is located in the hospitable city of Owensboro.  Money Magazine recently ranked Owensboro as one of the best places to live in the small cities category.  Well-located, Owensboro is small enough to promote a hometown atmosphere yet large enough to support many amenities usually available in much larger cities.

The Opportunity: Kentucky Wesleyan College seeks applicants for the full-time Director of Athletics to provide leadership for the College's intercollegiate athletic program, including 13 sports.

Responsibilities: The Director of Athletics will recruit and supervise coaches and athletic staff; plan and manage the athletic budget and resources; oversee fundraising in conjunction with the Advancement and Public Relations offices; assure compliance with the NCAA and conference regulations; coordinate athletic events and schedules; and promote the integration of Athletics into the overall college experience.

Qualifications: A bachelor's degree, previous experience in college athletic administration and fundraising, and a working knowledge of NCAA regulations are required.  A master's degree and experience coaching at the college level are preferred.
