Jacob Thomson (Holy Cross) to Run in Indiana Miracle Mile (Best Field Ever)

The best distance runners in Indiana are meeting for the Indiana Miracle Mile Friday night at Franklin Central High School along with Class A 1600m State Champion, Jacob Thomson of Holy Cross.  I have placed the best times I could find via Indiana MileSplit and Stephen Bain’s Indiana Distance Preview from Indiana Runners http://indianarunner.com/BoysDistanceTrackPreview2011.aspx.

Futsum Zeinasellassie (North Central) leads the field after placing 2nd at Foot Locker Nationals last December with a 15:10. He has a best time of 14:47.  Trinity Invitational winner, Chris Walden (Carmel) was 3rd last week at the Arcadia Invitational in the 3200m Run with an 8:51.59.  The times below show this race is loaded.  Holy Cross’s Thomson has a chance to throw a big time PR after running a 9:32 for 3200m in March in his first meet at the Oldham County Kick-Off Classic.
