LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- The Bellarmine University men's and women's track and field teams will split up this weekend as they will compete in the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational in Cincinnati as well as the Centre Invite in Danville, Ky.
The Oliver Nikoloff Invitational, hosted by the University of Cincinnati, will feature both Div-I schools like Xavier University, University of Dayton, and Marquette University as well as familiar foes like Findlay and Kentucky State.
In the Centre Invite the Knights will get much more of a local flavor as they will compete against host Centre College, Eastern Kentucky, Morehead State, Transylvania, and Cumberlands.
The Knights are coming off a successful trip in the Hanover Invite on March 26 where
Elliot Mattingly set a new school record in the hammer throw with a winning throw of 52.98.
Other notable performers were Meghan Jones setting a new meet record in the 200 meter sprint while Maddie Roark won the 400 hurdles by over four seconds. On the men's side,
Sean Klosterman won both the 100 and 200 sprints in decisive fashion.
