This Week's Nominees:
Malcolm Crow, Frederick Douglass (Kentucky): Launched a state-leading 23-7 in the long jump to win the Tates Creek Commodore Classic, defeating a field of 18 competitors. The mark puts him atop Kentucky's leaderboard and ranks him as the #2 junior in the state.
Deegan Croley, Marshall County (Kentucky): Swept both throwing events at the Chuck Gullo Twilight Relays with a 58-0 shot put and 152-11 discus. Won the shot put against 17 competitors and took the discus title in a field of 19.
Satona Bailey, Christian County (Kentucky): Posted double victories at the Raider Classic, clocking 21.77 in the 200 meters and 10.96 in the 100 meters. The #3 junior in Kentucky in the 200 won both events convincingly, taking the 200 in a field of 27 and the 100 against 26 competitors.
Joseph Killion, Middlesboro (Kentucky): Dominated three events at the City-County Classic, winning the 400 meters in 48.90, the 100 meters in 11.29, and the 200 meters in 23.36. His 400 time was the top mark among this week's competitors statewide.
Kobey Yates, Marshall County (Kentucky): Won the 1600 meters at the Chuck Gullo Twilight Relays in 4:19.13, defeating a field of 26 runners. His time was the fastest 1600 posted by any Kentucky athlete this week.
