Eason, senior at Sayre High School in Lexington has committed to run at Eastern Kentucky University next year in Richmond.
Eason was a 1st Team All-State selection this past fall after finishing 3rd place at the Class A Kentucky State Cross Country Meet. She was Runner-Up the previous year in 2009. She was also the Class A Runner-Up in the 1600m with a time of 5:23 in 2010 as well.
She opened her senior indoor track season with a victory in the Two Mile Run at the Wildcat Classic in 11:34.
