Kentucky Wesleyan finished 11th in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country 8K Course on the campus of Wisconsin-Parkside in Somers, Wis. on Saturday morning.
Leading the Panthers was senior Chris Hirsbrunner (70th, 28:21) followed by senior Brent Mesplay (72nd, 29:40); freshman Nicholas Richey (73rd, 29:49); freshman Josh Bratcher (74th, 30:14); senior Jordan Payne (75th, 30:31); junior Michael Kincaid (76th, 30:32) and senior Will Hicks 77th, 32:00).
Southern Indiana won the team title and Drury's Jaime Villa Zapatero won the individual championship.
