This Week's Nominees:
Clara Warrick, Oldham County (Kentucky): Won the 100 meters at the North Oldham GNO with a time of 11.81, outrunning a field of 97 competitors.
Aleigha Sullivan, Lafayette (Kentucky): Threw 130-11 to win the discus at the Tyson & Trinity Gay Invitational, taking first in a field of 25. Also placed 3rd in the shot put with a mark of 36-8.
O'Naya Harris, Frederick Douglass (Kentucky): The top sophomore in Kentucky in the 100 meters posted a new PR of 59.35 in the 400 at the Tyson & Trinity Gay Invitational, breaking her previous best of 59.62. She also won the 200 meters in 25.07 at the Tates Creek All-Comers meet and ranks #2 among sophomores statewide in that event.
Jade Hartlage, Christian Educational Consortium (Kentucky): Clocked 57.42 to win the 400 meters at the Tyson & Trinity Gay Invitational, defeating state-ranked O'Naya Harris. She also cleared 5-2 for 2nd place in the high jump at the same meet.
Marleigh Estes, Bourbon County (Kentucky): Set a new PR in the 800 meters at the Beach Run Invitational with a time of 2:16.74, improving from her previous best of 2:17.96 set last April.
