Bagley and Brink named Gatorade Athletes of the Year
Brandon Bagley, senior at John Hardin and Emma Brink, junior at Sacred Heart Academy were named the Kentucky Outdoor Track Athletes of the Year last week.
Bagley, a University of Kentucky signer won both the 110 Meter Hurdles and 300 Meter Hurdles at the Class AAA Kentucky State Track Meet on June 5th. Brink, a senior to be won defended her titles in the 1600 Meter and 800 Meter Run at the Class AAA State Track Meet. She broke the overall state record in both events. This is the second year in a row she has been honored with the Gatorade Female Track Athlete of the Year Award.
