Thirty-One Student-Athletes Set To Graduate Saturday

RICHMOND, Ky. – This Saturday, 31 student-athletes will receive their Eastern Kentucky University bachelor’s degree in Alumni Coliseum. Thirteen different sports will be represented during the spring graduation ceremonies including multiple student-athletes from baseball, football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s cross country, women’s cross country, women’s soccer, men’s track and women’s track.

This year’s student-athlete graduates include: George Anderson (football), Sireece Bass (women’s basketball), Robert Dees (football), Maria Doerger (women’s cross country, women’s track and field), Tiffany Dumas (women’s track and field), Dayvon Ellis (men’s basketball), Jessica Goshert (women’s soccer), Chris Hall (football), Jena Handley (softball), Phillip Herbst (football), Eva Hollenberg (women’s soccer), Chris Hord (baseball), Lauren Imsande (women’s soccer), TyJuan Jones (football), Joseph Maina (men’s cross country, men’s track and field), Jesse Massie (men’s golf), Nadia Mossong (women’s basketball), Nicole Mulhall (volleyball), Barbara Phelan (women’s cross country, women’s track and field), Papa Oppong (men’s basketball), Anthony Ottrando (baseball), David Owens (baseball), Garnett Phelps (football), Svetlana Pimenova (women’s tennis), Chris Rengifo (men’s cross country, men’s track and field), Josh Taylor (men’s basketball), Josh Turner (football), Tejon Washington (football), John White (men’s basketball), Brad Willoughby (football).

The morning ceremony, at 9:30 a.m., will recognize degree candidates in the Colleges of Education, and Business & Technology. The afternoon ceremony, at 1:30 p.m., will recognize degree candidates in the Colleges of Health Sciences, and Justice & Safety. The evening ceremony, at 5 p.m., will recognize degree candidates in the College of Arts & Sciences.
