Athletes of the Week for the week ending April 19th
 
Boys Sprinter of the Week
Chisom Omenyinma (Male) won the 100m and 200m Dashes at the Heart of the Bluegrass Invitational in Lexington on Saturday. He also was a member of the winning 4x200 Meter Relay team which won in a new Kentucky #1 1:29.36.
Girls Sprinter of the Week
Ashley Collinsworth (Highlands) won four events at the Donnie Carnes Memorial Invitational on Saturday. She won the 100m Dash in 12.75, the 100m Hurdles (17.06), 300m Hurdles (49.09) and was a member of the 4x200m Relay. 
 
Boys Distance Runner of the Week
Ryan Eaton (Greenwood) set two personal best this past week. On Tuesday he ran a new best time of 1:57.80 in the 800m at a Greenwood All-Comers. Then on Saturday he won the Two Mile Run at the Volunteer Classic in Knoxsville with a 9:17.81.
Girls Distance Runner of the Week
Claire Payne (Daviess County) won the 1600m Run at the Tell City Invitational on Saturday. She ran a new personal best time of 5:34 on the way to the win.
 
Boys Field Event Athlete of the Week
Chris Ulis (Elizabethtown) pulled off the jump trifecta at the Heartland Track Classic on Saturday. He won the High Jump with a leap of 6-05, the Triple Jump in 41-04.50, and the Long Jump in 20-06.
Girls Field Event Athlete of the Week
Madison Theiss (Oldham County) dominated the field events at the Oldham County All-Comers last Thursday. She won the High Jump with a new Kentucky #1 5-02, the Triple Jump in 32-08.50, and the Discus in 99-11.
